The Sword of the Spirit, is God's Word, and part of our spiritual armor to be worn at all times(Ephesians 6:17). Certain scriptures I'd like to memorize faster than others, so that I can use them as a two edge sword when spiritual attacks or negative influence come my way. Only a Believer who has truly experienced the power of God's Word, understands how important this really is. I began using index cards, but I'm wondering if there is a more efficient way. Any ideas?

You can meditate on scriptures to help you to memorise them. This means taking a scripture and talking to yourself with the scipture until it registers in your heart. The Holy Spirit will bring the word in your heart to your rememberance when you pray and when you speak out that word, it is the Sword of the Spirit. Other thing you should do is to build up your spirit by praying in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit can give you words to pray as you pray in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness in prayer (Rom 8:26)

Peace!
Some people I know use index cards. I am not really a Bible quoter because I found out many people don't like it. It is better to just paraphrase the verse you want to quote and mention the source.
God bless!
