Our first responsibility is towards ourselves, so remaining true to ourselves is our first and only responsibility; for beyond that it all depends on other person as well whether they choose to trust you or not.
Those who trust themselves find it easy to trust others.
The same holds true for love and respect as well, it all begins from ourselves.
So let’s not confuse others inability to trust you as you not being trustworthy.
Otherwise this fear would turn us into a people pleaser, and that would be detrimental towards our self-esteem in the long run.
We become trust worthy, the moment we start trusting ourselves, that's all. When that happens, the world follows suit, as our personality starts reflecting that trusting nature.
The same hold true for love and respect as well. For that matter anything that we seek on the outside we must first generated it on the inside.
Let's bring the focus back on to our Self for that is where, all the stories begin from.

Give them a reason to trust you, show them you can be a responsible person & an honest person. You never said what your age was but those suggestions should work with any age. Good Luck

Show them that they should trust you. Don't do things you know they wouldn't approve of. Be honest and truthful with them.

In short, honesty over time, and sound decision-making. Showing motivation torward your education/vocation is a good idea, too.
