depends on you. different people react differently. You may get more bumps shaving than you would waxing or vice versa. There are creams you can use to prevent/ease this. If you like the convienence of being able to do it yourself and dont like the pain you may want to shave. Or if you dont have a lot of time you may want to get it done professionally and get it waxed, this lasts longer. You may also want to look at laser hair removal if you have the money. So really there is no best way just which one you prefer.

Theres some great products out at the moment from your local supermarkets. If your embarrassed to go to a hair dressers you can try things like do it your self wax, thats hard to do first time though, you can get wax strips that are a bit easier as they are already shaped you just put em on and rip em off! The easiest is har removal cream/mousse, its easy to use and pain free but doesnt leave it as smooth feeling. If its just for wearing a bikini i would try that!

get it waxed professionally. waxing it yourself will just make it hard because of the anticipation of pain(if your threshold for pain is low) then it might take you forever to do it. it hurts like hell but at least a pro knows in what direction to pull and can see the area that is being waxed. if you do it you might not be able to see everything plus if anything happens you can blame the professional. i mean if she messes up at least she can be accountable for what she did. if you mess up you'll have nobody to blame but yourself and you'll be lost and might be asking on yahoo how to treat ingrown hairs down there and the like which is kinda embarrassing...good luck! also if you have extra cash get it lasered. it takes a couple of visits for the hair to be completely gone...

Unless you're shaving off because of a sport activity just be careful. I tried it once using an electric razor, then a disposable one. Biggest problem, it came back stronger, darker and fuller; its an even bigger bush than before. I just keep it trimmed instead. I should have just left it alone. The looks I got in the gym weren't worth it.

1. get it waxed professionally if it is the first time.
2. use a depilatory cream.
3. use a razor(bad idea)
4.trim it with scissors

I like Nair. there is one that comes with shea butter in it, it doesn't smell as bad, nor burn.

It takes about 10 minutes, and there is no pulling, tugging, or ripping skin.

even the first hair that starts to grow back is lighter.

I got it at wal-mart.

Whatever guy or girl I'm going with likes to shave my mound. I don't bother with a bikini line, "bald is beautiful".
