Your best bet is to attend Conventions and have a Professional Portfolio taken when you attend Casting Calls. Casting Calls are held at all modeling agencies during a particular day and time. NYC and California are the best places to pursue a career in modeling and have the most agencies. Professional Portfolios are costly but well worth it. They can cost between $500-2,000 but are done tastefully. Don't limit your options to just those two magazines though, broaden your work so you can get more work. I have been to many agencies and although haven't been hired I have decided to try again. It can be hard work and you may want to give up, but if its something you want to do go for it. Also, when you attend Castings, wear as minimal makeup as possible so the agents can see your skin and don't wear any outfits that take away from your physical features such as face, skin & body shape. No you mustn't. Playboy isn't mushy center porn. that is only eye-catching photos of nude desirable ladies. it is not a porno magazine, have confidence me inspect a number of the dirtier magazines available and you mustn't be disgusted by playboy.

go for casting calls or send your photos (professionally taken or not depends on what the agencies require) to agencies through mails or emails, method varies from agencies to agencies. all the best :)
[PS: many agencies provide portfolios for their models and send their models on modelling related courses only for a nominal fee, watch out for less reliable agencies. and be sure to read carefully the small prints when you decide to sign a contract with any agency.]

Have someone take pictures of you in bikinis or lingerie then mail them to the magazine. Also, send your contact information and general info about yourself.

get a good agent it pretty expensive i did zoo magazine! Try entering compatitions by going on there websites ect... dont be dishartened though if you ever get knockbacks because its tough industry they can drop you like a sack of spuds....good luck x x

Go to public places like mall and market and wear your hottest swim suit.I'm sure every ones eyes will be at you.
