Jesus Christ plainly stated that He will drink wine, at the very least for Passover (which will still be observed in the future) i.e. "But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's Kingdom." (Matthew 26:29 KJV). Do the Scriptures also say that drunkards will be among those who will not be in the Kingdom of God?
1 Corinthians 6:10

Just because it's a sin or 'thorn in the flesh" to you, doesn't mean you have to partake of it. Jesus said he wouldn't partake again until we were together in His Father's Kingdom so that he could enter into His glorified body without any earthly influence after His resurrection. There's a difference between drinking and being drunk as well. A Scripture comes to mind that says something to the effect that "A LITTLE wine is good for the infirmities of the stomach". It's not a shame to drink; only to be DRUNK and out of control of yourself.

Drinking is not a sin, otherwise Paul would not have told Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach. 1Timothy 5:23

But it seems drinking in excess is a sin.

Ephesians 5:18 says "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit."
1Timothy 3:8 and Titus 2:3 also seem to frown on drinking too much.

And as you pointed out, 1 Chor. 6:10 says drunkards will not be in the Kingdom of God.

It's not drinking, it's being a drunk that is a sin.
The Bible says that God made the fruit of the vine to make men happy.

Alcohol itself is not a sin, however, it can lead to behaviors that some consider sinful.....not that I know about any of those drunken behaviors.... ;)
