yes!!! the grass is always on the other side of the hedge....because you always tend to want something others have and appreciate more what other persons posses....eg.. u build a house and then see other houses... though you have built it with so much enthusiasm , you still feel other house looks more beautiful than your own... a pang of jealousy or just resigned feeling hits you.. this is just an example...because the grass next door looks more greeener to you than your own....
the moral is, be content with what you have and feel proud about what you posses...
lol ....am i sermonising? haahhaah... then forget it...

Yes. The grass IS always greener on the other side...Till you get there. We always strive to do better, work harder, need more....but after all that you find out it IS still only grass. You have worked to achieve more, but what did you loose in the mean time?? We all tend to be too materialistic.

It is total B.S. the grass is never greener. I have gone to see the grass on the other side & found out it was worse than the grass on the side I was already on, but I couldn't appriciate it. I like my own lawn a lot. I am glad to be back on this side.

the grass is NOT always greener on the other side... it just depends on which side you look on. If you look at someone who has just as much as you do and have the same things if not more, their "grass yard" looks good to you because of the way you see therm deal with or handle it. BUT if you look at someone who has less than you, Their "dirt yard" doesn't appeal to you.

Until you arrive on the other side and you have to; mow it, take out weed, clean dog droppings, and sprinkle it. The you realise that it is in fact not greener but more demanding while you don't have time and patience to do all these things.

I don't think the grass is so much greener on the other side as it is, when you can see your grass up close, you notice all of its imperfections and your grass doesn't look so hot and all other grass look greener (b/c its farther away).

Sure it is. So many times I saw a cow tied up on one side of a road, block the road by eating on the other side; OR,,, how about the stupid chickens crossing the road just ahead of your car....

And you, have you ever thought that your job sux so you got another one??? And guess what?

The grass is not always greener, it's just a different color.

That simply means that no matter what we acquire or achieve, we will always believe that the best is owned by someone else, or just beyond our grasp.
