Of course, if it lines up with the spirit and the word...I mean.

No, you speak on Paul's and Pope Gregory's behalf, not God. Look up Pope Gregory. He alone is responsible for the truth being omitted and the bible being altered to what it is today.

God is not about hate and bigotry. God is not about hell. There is no hell!

We need to be careful to represent God well. We will have to give account to Him for all our careless words. Many have spoken on His behalf and yet knew nothing about Him or never knew Him. It must line up with the Word and if we say things that are not backed up by scripture then no good can come from it.
However no-one will go wrong if they love as God loves- unconditionally. Love in action is never wrong. True Love comes from God and He is Love. So when we put aside our desires and really sacrificially love others- including the unlovely or gone astray or anti-Christianity ones- then we are doing God's will. But empty spouting of the Bible verses and arrogant talking down to people won't work nor enforcing our beliefs. Many profess to be Christians but the test is our love for others....Christians and not yet Christians. The Holy Spirit does impower people but be careful to listen and be wise and humbly ask for help to be a light in the world.

Yes of course if you live out what you say. Otherwise you are a false witness. Many Christians are only professing Christians but not practising Christians. But if you are as good in your speach as in your actions, then as the Bible says, you are a letter from God being read by the world, meaning you are a real ambassador or representative of the King of Heaven.

Yes we can share God's Word by direction of the Holy Spirit, because he dwells "within" us. Several scriptures speak of this. One does not have to look to the heavens to communicate with God. The latter is just one of many misunderstandings non-beleivers have because they have not studied the Bible, or fully understood a relationship with God.

That's the essential question of the Protestant reformation - do people have the freedom to find God on their own or must proper access be determined by the church (or another entity)?

In a more abstract way, this has much to do with personal freedom.

But now you have to ask yourself, "if everyone is free to find God on their own, what are the roles of institutions in society?" Doesn't this imply that institutions do the most rational things in order to be seen as valid by the most free people? What does this say we should do about institutions that are no longer behaving in rational ways?

Yes if we preach the Word in context as it is written through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yes. Jesus gave the command to "Go and make disciples.."(.Matthew 28: 19, 20) How? By doing what he did, giving testimonies about His Father, letting the people know about God's purpose...in so doing we take part in God's plan of letting the people know about His Kingdom.

We become the voice of God that many may believe and learn about him.

Shouldn't you be asking Him?

And being very careful about what you take as His assent to you speaking on His behalf?

Thanks for the blessings, though - I take 'em when I can get 'em!

Are you asking if spirit is more important than a "label".

It doesn't matter what a person calls themself or who they think they are.....the spirit exists without man-made permission.

I don't believe that religion supersedes spirit.

Peace!

It was Jesus who was authorized to speak on His behalf. We can speak of the truths that we understand.
