You obviously have some fears.
Firstly...how well do you know him? High school girls are very vulnerable to the attention of college guys...understandably!
But before you get to hung up on the 'high' remember that this guy is still very young. He is still learning about himself and all the pressures that come with college.
My advice is keep it casual. Have your fun...protected of course, but enjoy your life without him too. If he acts all protective and jealous he's probably out to 'conquer' and probably can't be trusted. I strongly believe if things were meant to be they will work out! If you are open with your parents talk to them about it casually and let them know that you are not naive. This will pay off in the long run.

Caution. A junior in high school is around age 16, a sophomore in college is around age 19. That spells statutory rape in some jurisdictions...even if the girl is consenting and willing and so forth. Can the girl find someone her own age...of course. Can he find someone his own age? of course. There's nothing really "wrong" with the age difference...and it becomes less and less important as the years go by. There isn't much difference between a 35 year old woman and a 39 year old man, but there is a greater difference between 16 and 19. Just some things to think about.

What's the big deal. It's at most a 4 years age difference. It's like a 26 year old dating a 22 year old girl.
But yes, I can see the delimma about a post-high school guy dating a girl who's underage of consent. But it depends on the quality of the relationship and how sincere it is.

Yay! As long as everything is working out between you two and your parents don't mind I see nothing wrong with this. But if you feel you are being taken advantage of in anyway or he is making unnecessary advances then it is definitely a nay.

4 years is not that much.. but there is a BUT in here so listen up...
The Female has to be at the age of consent if you guys are fooling around. If she isn't then statutory rape comes into play. Just thought you should know. And wanted to tell you not to take the chance as it would not worth having to be a registered sex offender for the rest of your life... PLUS if you have talked sex on the internet then you would also be labled a sexual preditator.
THINK = THINK = THINK
GOOD LUCK TO YOU

I would be careful becuase of the big diffrence. Talking life styles. College people and high school people are very diffrent. That being said my parents are 6 years apart and they have been married for 30 years. It depends on the two people and how they feel about each other and how much they want it to work for it to work.

Nay, you may feel ready for this relationship but the truth is that the age difference (although it may not seem like a big number) is really extreme when it comes to life experiences, mindset, etc.....
