As a Brit..who's married to an American...i'd have to say no i dont find the brit accent beautiful.
Some of the homegrown accents here are nice, but some are just plain ucky...i mean the british accent encompasses Scottish, Welsh and English...scotland has some accents which are lovely, some are a bit rougher and harsher and some are just plain incomprehensible!!
Welsh....well that's just welsh!!
But the English british accent varies quite drastically from place to place...personally i like the typical well-spoken south eastern accent, and Geordie (Newcastle accent) is cool too, but i'm not a huge fan of the Manc (manchester) or Brummy (birmingham + west midlands) accents!

I don't understand what you are all talking about. You do know that in England alone, someone from London would have trouble understanding someone from Newcastle, because the accent is so different? Factor in Wales and Scotland and you will soon realise there is no 'British' accent.

I therefore assume you are thinking of the stereotypical 'Queen's English' or a random newsreader from the BBC World Service. So to those who say our accent makes us sound stupid, backward and arrogant, take a good, hard look in the mirror (or should that be looking glaaaas) before you start chucking around your ignorant assertions.

I was blessed to be involved-with an ex-patriate of Britain at one point, and I must say that her accent was most certainly 'interesting' from an (initial) 'attractiveness-standpoint', however, she had been moved here at such a young age, that she could turn the accent 'on-and-off' to a certain extent,...

But, when she was ANGRY,...or being especially-passionate about a topic of conversation, then, the 'Limey' would come out and 'dominate' her speech.

In conclusion, YES,...I also find many other accents to be 'intriguing'.

To me, it's more a matter of hearing something 'different' and then 'wanting-to' know more about any other 'differences'. IMO

Yes I feel British accent is very decent and pleasant to hear. British men and women are very elegantly dressed, well mannered and highly educated in the real high and systematic method. They move around in very dignified mannerism and rarely use vulgar language. I think if in today's shameless era, if there is some femininity seen, it is only in British culture and of -course in our Indian culture.

I think most accents within the United Kingdom are pretty beautiful. I don't think that I could decide between the Aussies, Scots, and Irish.
