If random energy were to cause order in the universe, why does entropy exist? The Laws of Thermodynamics (and particularly entropy) prohibit the possibility of the theory of evolution from being true (cf. ARN.org), as is becoming more and more apparent in scientific circles (especially in the different sub-disciplines of physics).

Someone with a bit of creativity propose a notion of origin?

I have my own ideas, but they are not for your consumption...

David T, I am sure that you would like to hear what I think... but thoughts are silent, as is my lashing tongue. No secrets for you.

Too many people do not understand that entropy is net and despite random processes, order may emerge locally. The universe tends towards disorder, but sparse islands where order prevails are sparsely scattered throughout the emptiness of space. Fools use terms like "random energy" or "chaotic energy" that have no meaning. The ignorant assert that the laws of thermodynamics exclude evolution, when the requirements to exclude evolution would preclude life. All that is apparent is that too many people speak of science when they know little of it.

You have a misunderstanding of the law thermodynamics. Entropy can decrease in a CLOSED system if energy is flowing into it. The Earth is such a case because it receives a huge amount of energy from the sun. Entropy cannot decrease in the universe as a whole.

The laws of thermodynamics don't apply here (not even the second law, which I assume is what you mean).

If you really want to understand this, go ask in the biology section. Posting here means you're not really looking for answers.

Big Bang is still a deficient theory.
Creationism also needs more revise.
The world of creation and the world of revelation still remain as a great mystery for science and religion to fathom for an infinite duration.
Remember the various steps of our toddlly adventure in the last two millennia: flat earth, solar center, heaven with score of stars, evolution, 3 dimension universe, 4 dimension universe...
During such period of time, the Messengers of God constantly announce:"God says be, and it is."
Yes, none of us possesses the knowledge of this truth; we better concentrate on learning and discovering to reach higher scales of civilization under the guidance of the One True God.

Which evolved first (how, and how long, did it work without the others)? a) The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the body’s resistance to its own digestive juice (stomach, intestines, etc.)? b) The drive to reproduce or the ability to reproduce? c) The lungs, the mucus lining to protect them, the throat, or the perfect mixture of gases to be breathed into the lungs? d) DNA or RNA to carry the DNA message to cell parts? e) The termite or the flagella in its intestines that actually digest the cellulose? f) The plants or the insects that live on and pollinate the plants? g) The bones, ligaments, tendons, blood supply, or muscles to move the bones? h) The nervous system, repair system, or hormone system? i) The immune system or the need for it?

Thanks. This isnt a "canned answer" but It is getting tiresome of people saying evolution is fact.

Since it is impossible, logic leaves us to believe the next most plausable option.

I say its creation. I'd like to hear wht you think.

Blessings in 2007,
David
