I(21,American) went to Italy for 3 months with my boyfriend(22,German) last year and I was sooooooo angry with some of the guys there, some of them were so disrespectful. Why do the guys there act like this, it was so weird this has never happened to me in Germany(I live here with my boyfriend) or in the USA. I am so angry and confused ?!
Details (Here are just a few examples):
-The guys there kept shouting things at me, when they knew I had a boyfriend(I was holding his hand everywhere we went)
-I got my butt pinched to many times to remember
-Twice random guys just came up and kissed me then ran off, when my boyfriend was standing right next to me
-At first I was a little flattered but then it just started getting really annoying(And my boyfriend was super angry)
Questions:
-Why do Italian guys act like this, is it some type of cultural thing ?
-How can I stop this from happening when I go back to Italy this summer ?

I know, it happens to me, and I am Italian - don't take it all so seriously - but don't take lightly the bottom pinching - the culture is having fun with the male and female flirtations - but sometimes a lot of guys take too many liberties, especially with tourist girls I know, because especially the young guys want to have easy relations I suppose. But many Italian men are so sweet - don't judge all of them life this. Hope you have better time next summer.

well that sounds way out of hand, but Italy is revolves around sex, food and wine, so get used to it!!
