In my experience, punishment has never been a great motivating tool. It's like telling the dog to come, then you shoot it with a B-B gun, then tell it to come. It never does. God wants you to have a relationship with him, and I don't think God's going to punish you to get closer to you. God may send the Holy Spirit to come grace you, but punishment, no, I don't think so.

no,we were all created with freewill to believe what we want.But god wants you to believe in him,dont ignore the evidece of creation around you,the house or apartment you live in had a designer youll agree,if something as simple as a house needs a designer how much more so does this complicated earth we live on.

Christians will tell you anything like that, just because your different, and you believe differently then them. Most are just trying to get under your skin and shove their beliefs down your throat. (notice i said "most" so dont get mad if your christian and say that you dont)
