Its true. And I know you say you don't believe that, but I mean it with all my heart. He desires you more than He does me.
Christians, lets watch how we speak to the (potential) future of repentance and salvation. Speak in love or not at all. They have seen enough hypocrites. And I repent for anything offensive I have ever said to you all, sincerely.
Blessings in 2007

David, why do you presume to know the true desire of G-d's heart? Isn't that blasphemy?
Kind of a nice thought, though. Does this mean that I become less desirable (more of an abomination) if I give up my atheism? Is this a kind of reverse Pascal's wager? Should I continue to treat Him mean and keep Him keen?

If that is true then why didn't anything happen when I prayed for him to change my god-given brain chemistry so that I would believe in him (just in case he was real). I still don't.

Too bad. I really don't like to break hearts, but you're going to have to tell god to get over it.

Jesus said, "The kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety-nine and looked for the one until he found it. After he had toiled, he said to the sheep, I love you more than the ninety-nine."

Okay, but that's because the christians want everyone to live "sinless" (unhappy) lives forever. That's not fun. Life's a party, enjoy it! Don't let anyone be the party pooper!
Hee hee, there's a funny CLOWN below me!

I'm guessing you were once an Orthodox Jew, & are now a Christian, am I right? If so why do you keep on spelling his name that way?

I think the word you're looking for is GOD. I'm not trying to be offensive, but in your mind when someone close to you dies, where do they go?

If you can't type the word, how can you expect to be taken seriously? Its God, andatheists don't give a damn what a mythical figure desires of them.
