Right now I am using a great product for my face. But what I am looking for now is a VERY good soap that clears up acne on the body. I do not have a sevre case of acne just light - moderate. I have acne on my chest, a little on my arms and back.

So please, if anyone has used a particular soap or body wash that clears up acne and keeps its away, please help me out!

Thank you!

Phisoderm is great. It balances PH level. Yves Rocher has a triple fruit toner (called Essentials I think, in a green bottle). It does the same, and they neutralize the oil in the T-zone. A simple toner that works well is Witch Hazel diluted with water.

used to sell Nu Skin and am a soapmaker as well. Soap clogs your pores and dries out your skin (except Dove) as main ingredient is either beef fat or vegetable oil. I'd say Phisoderm and toner twice a day. Stuff like Clearasil just zaps all of the oil out of your skin and is harsh. You think it must work b/c of the effect (ex; burning) but you really need to take a milder approach and you will notice a difference.

Best Soap For Back Acne

2016-11-14 08:47:36 · answer #3 · answered by lainey 4 · 0 0

If you add a decent amount of baking soda to your bath water (like maybe 2/3 of a standard small box) and soak in the water for twenty minutes plus a few times a week, it will likely wipe out 95%+ of any acne on your body. Truly, it will almost completely wipe out every pimple on your body. The only potential side effect is that that the somewhat alkaline bath water after soaking might slightly redden some of the thinner hairs on your body (and the hair on your head if you submerge it for long). This will work a hundred times better than any medicated soap you shower with, and it's cheap.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then fifteen times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Here are some of the previous comments I got from those who voted it as the best answer,

Oatmeal soap and the clear Neutrogena bar are two excellent choices. Neutrogena can be purchased almost anywhere but you may have to find a specialty store for the oatmeal soap. Both are inexpensive!

You might want to add a loofah or natural sea sponge to your bath routine .. both exfoliate your skin while cleaning.

Your gonna laugh but it works..

You need a medicated shampoo for body wash

and look for that green alcohol in the bottle next to the regular clear rubbing alcohol. Just get a tissue and pour a litle of that and wipe your face. You will see how dirty the tissue is and you will be able to see what has been living on your face. Its about $1.50 a bottle so much cheaper than acne creams and meds.
