is she pregnant? if she was bred and you might not have known it the normal gestation of dogs is 63 days which would explain the bleeding again if she is going into labor. are her teets enlarged? has she gained weight? most dogs will not go back into heat this soon, but anything is possible. no matter take her to your vet to find out. if she is in labor and could be in trouble and you probably wouldn't know it. if she is not bred she could have an infection, uterine or bladder. and as usual i have to say although i seem to be spitting into the wind.....if you don't know about dog breeding and you aren't breeding to improve the breed, then spay and neuter your pets people. call your vet or an er vet if she seems to be in distress, ie panting, lethargic, any odd behavior you would consider to be odd for your pet.

i'd get the female accomplished first. a girl canines may be spayed after 6 months of age. A male canines may be neutered between 6-7 months in age. Doing the female first will forestall her from going into warmth so which you wont would desire to attend to that.

I agree with the urinary trac infection...I adopted an older dog a few years back and she was spotting...went back to the Humane Society with her because they claimed she was fixed....and they were right! It was an infection....also watch her when she pees. If she walks and pees -- this is another sign. (ouch!)

Sounds like it's time to get fixed to avoid unwanted pound puppies and help your dog be healthy!

She may have a urinary tract infection. They are very common in female dogs. She needs to get to the vet for a urinalysis to determine if there is an infection and a prescription. Urinary tract infections are very painful, so please get her to the vet.

It sounds like a urinary tract infection. However if it is really vaginal blood, she may have an ovarian cyst. In either case, you need to take her to the vet.

There are many things it could be, pyometra (deadly uterine infection) being one. Have her seen by a vet immediately.
