This is the advice that I think is best. Eat a high fiber breakfast which should make you go. Eat lots of vegetables and grains. Then, a healthy snack in the evening that always makes me go: apple slices covered in honey. Apples are high in fiber and also anything syrupy tends to act as a laxative for me. But why not try it either way? It's really good.

The simple answer is: eat more fibers, either soluble (ie benefiber and the like) or insoluble (ie vegetables, whole grains etc).
But the real point is: we eat more often because we need to keep our glycaemic index constant, and it can't be done if we eat only once.
On the other hand, the exit department better function a little slowly because the last part of the bowel needs to have time to absorb water from foods and to "brew" intestinal bacteria which produce substances that helps us stay healthy.

Ever since I started taking One A Day Men's Vitamins, I've been going twice a day. It seems to work best if I take the pill in the morning. You might try it. Aside from the possible correlation, a multi-vitamin is a good idea all around.

I'm a veggie, so I'd try and eat more vegetables if I were you. Also, there are over the counter aids, I've used Senocot with good results. I would only take one though, despite the recommended dose. But check with your doctor first, sometimes these aids can do more harm than good. Also, I hear regular exercise can be helpful too.
Good luck!

Fiber is the answer, but I naturally go more than once a day.My ex wouldn't go for a week sometimes! I used to think he was gonna explode or had some bad disease.
Everyone is different,so i would not worry about it.

Strangely enough, I find that eating several Double Stuf Oreo cookies (8 or more) has a nice cleansing effect. However, if you're staying away from junkfood, more fiber can help.
