you can apply warm compresses to your ear to help with pain and to reduce swelling.
apply a warm washcloth to your ear for 10-15mins as needed.
you can also take ibuprofen for the pain and swelling. take 200-400mg every 6 hours as needed but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
you can also apply rubbing alcohol with a q-tip or a cotton ball around the piercing (don't take it out). if using a cotton ball, soak it in the alcohol and cover the earring and surrounding area. twist the earring a few times to help the alcohol get into the piercing itself (this might sting a little but it will help)
if your ear starts to swell or drain pus then i would advise removing the piercing b/c chances are it has become infected.

Tinnitus is when an individual hears noises when there isn't any external sounds. There are two types of tinnitus, subjective and objective. Subjective is the most common and it means that the patient is the only one who can hear any sounds. Objective tinnitus is more rare but this occurs when the doctor can actually hear sounds from the patient's ear, either by listening closely or use of a stethoscope. In either case, sufferers are often desperate to know how to cure tinnitus.

In at least one instance, the noise heard could be real. In other words, there is a real source of the noise that you hear. This is known as Pulsatile tinnitus.
this, you would be able to hear your own heart beat, and it could drive you completely crazy because you would have to live with the constant beat all
the time - no pun intended.
There's another difference. There's at least one more person who can hear these noises, and that is your doctor. The person will however need to use a
listening device to hear them. Do take note - this is not the same as listening to the heart beat with a stethoscope. Here, the doctor will use a listening
device to hear the noise at your ear, and not your chest.
What causes Pulsatile tinnitus? You could be hearing your heart beat if you have high blood pressure, have arterial damage, and even due to changes in
the flow of blood. Sometimes, a lot of stress, anxiety or depression can also cause this condition.

Tinnitus is actually not a disease. It is actually a symptom of a problem that is rooted deep, somewhere within your body. The problem could be a simple one like an infection in the ear, or even simpler, such as ear wax. In some people, it could even be the result of a side-effect of a drug they took. Or it could be more complicated. However, we absolutely can treat it healthily. Read more here:

Try soaking it in warm water and sea salt...if you don't have sea salt then regular salt might work too. It can be hard to soak your ear since it's attatched to your head...so try getting some cotton balls or a washcloth and putting the water and salt on it and then applying it to your peircing. Don't sleep on where you got pierced and be sure to keep it clean so it won't get infected. Some advil might help too.

Tinnitus is usually due to damage to the microscopic ends of the hearing nerve in the inner ear. Perfect hearing is possible only if these nerves remain
healthy and any damage to these nerves results in tinnitus or hearing impairment.
Some herbal remedies exist which can be used to support all body systems involved in helping the ear to perform its tasks of clear hearing and balance,
as well as the circulatory, cardiovascular, and nervous systems.
You must try a holistic method because it very fast to cure just only 3 months.

Advil. But DO NOT us asprin. It is a blood thinner and will make your peircing bleed. other than that, there isn't much you can do except resist the urge to play with it. Make sure to clean it with antibacterial spray or salt water solutions such as H2Ocean.http://www.h2ocean.com/
