hi, i have some ground coarse coffee beans, from starbucks, its a guatemalan one, i just wonder if it still safe to take it, it been expired since dec 30 last year, if its safe, how long should i still keep it, bec me myself is not a heavy coffee drinker, just to let you know, i store it in an air tight container for storage, thanks.... =)

While it should be safe to drink, the quality will have lowered considerably. Best way to store coffee is whole bean packed airtight in the refrigerator. I have heard of freezer .. but not sure about that. Store ground coffee airtight in refrigerator as well.
Since you are not a heavy coffee drinker, I would purchase coffee in single-pot size vacuum packed bags. Keep two on hand.

it somewhat is secure. If it has in no way been opened it somewhat is going to style nice. If it somewhat is been open it won't have as sparkling a style. in case you do no longer want to toss it then try mixing scoop for scoop with sparkling espresso.

It is OK, just not as good as fresh. The coffee may be weak or bitter.

won't hurt. give it a try. it might make you burp but it won't kill you i don't think. well it isn't poison i don't think.
