Actually, lack of adequate sleep can have an effect on acne, but it is just one thing. Proper diet, exercise, cleanliness, etc, all have an effect.
Severe acne should be treated by a physician.

Acne is caused by your failure to clean your face before you crash at 5 AM. Dirt and grime, and junk food to keep you awake will do it.

In ones life, we need to stay up late sometimes. Stay pretty even if you have to stay up late. No to pimples !
