Are you honestly asking this question? I hope you are not THAT silly...
Of course we don't keep them on during sex or shower with them on or do anything else most people do without their clothes on. They are underwear. We take them off at any time that is appropriate...swimming, sex, showering...
We don't take them off because of "inconvenience" like being outside in the heat (men taking off their shirts to work in the yard or something) or so we could wear immodest clothing or things like that.
Seriously people, they are underwear. Get over it.

Yep-- wet ones are exchanged for dry.
While changing it is wise to ALWAYS keep one foot in one undergarment AT ALL TIMES.
there CAN BE that much fear in being without.
(This is an extreme case!)
