County Jail inmate information is typically limited to "yes, they're here." I don't believe jails can/will release information about charges. To find that out, you'd need to get the information from the Court file. See what the District Attorney in your area charged the defendant with.

just call the jail and ask and if they won't tell you call them like eight more times and bug the sh!t out of them and then on like the tenth call .....call in a missing persons report on your friend. i swear to god it worked for me twice!
