I am 19 years old. I weigh about 170 pounds its all in my stomach and thighs. My sister is having a bacardi party and I am one of her bacardi party dancers. well I have to wear a mini skirt and right now I do not look good in one. so I want to lose about 20 pounds for that. then I am getting married so I will need to lose another 20 pounds 3 months after that. I need a foolproof diet plan that I can stick to. I am also worried about my fiance he has high cholesterol and high blood sugar because of his weight can someone please give us a diet plan that works? one that is foolproof and very easy to follow. Thank You I really appreciate it.

Honey, it's going to be really hard to lose that much weight in that amount of time! If you want to feel better about how you look, then I would suggest working out like crazy. Get to the gym at least 5 times a week and just do crazy cardio and weight training. Drink 100oz of water a day, no alcohol or soda (even diet) or juice - just water. Don't eat at night, in fact I have a friend who won't eat after 5pm. Unfortunately, nothing is foolproof because every diet will be different for everybody. Good luck, the bacardi party sounds fun!

I have two suggestions for you. I suggest going on a high protein diet if u want quick results in just one month. However, because you are on this diet, you are being malnutritioned, and after a month you may gain all the weight back. This is why i suggest that after the month of high protein, you do 3 months of eating "correctly." By saying this I mean you should eat healthy, including all food groups, Bread Meat Dairy Vegetables Fruit Water. Do that for 3 months and you should lose the desired weight. During the 4 months, try to exercise a few times a week and if you're lazy then just go for a walk and put ur ipod on.
When on the Protein Diet for a month: Eat Chicken (no skin), Fish, Eggs, Meat, Cheese, and maybe some cereal or cereal bars with high protein ex. (south beach diet cereal bars). When on this diet, lower the amount of sugar, calories, and carbs you eat. You are 19 as am I, so I'm sure you have a drink occasionaly. Try and limit alcohol to the weekends and you should be fine.
When on the "Healthy Diet": Eat plenty of fruit, drink water NO Soda!, eat green vegetables, meat with no skin, few bread, little or no candy, fish, and drink occasionally (weekends).

First off dieting is simple. No fast food, dont eat lots of dairy products, no junk food. Stick to foods that are high in fibre, lean meats, and lot of vegetables. No juice or pop beverages are allowed, drink skim milk. My basic rule of thumb is to eat foods that have not been sweetend or processed (this basically rules out about 90 percent of food in a grocery store). If you want to loose weight, make sure your stomach is growling most of the time. By the way it is not healthy to loose so much weight in as little as a month. So if your going to loose weight so rapidly you might as well not eat more than 500 calories per day (your already being harsh on your body, why not get it over with quick?) make sure you do 20 minutes cardio on the treadmill, and 20 mintues on a bicycle for five days per week. Do lots of sit ups every day. Squats are a must. Along with dumbell lunges and deadlifts. If you are serious, get a personal trainer in the gym. He will give you proper training tehcniques, and maybe even a diet plan. As for your husband it is as simple as not eating fast food, and junk food and chocolate. Like i said before; stick to healthy food and he will return to a healthy weight. Do what feels right, if you cant stand the hunger then eat alittle more, but all you will be doing is cheating yourself. I could write a book on this question and still only scratch the surface on what is the best way for you to get into shape and loose weight. But most people are unable to kick their bad eating habits, and get into going to the gym five days week. Anyway good luck! Hope this helps.

There are many persons thinking (and saying) that all cakes are bad and all fruits are good and stuff like that.

This is not true... for many reasons, one of which is, there are cakes (like pound cake) whose glycaemic index is the same of a ripe banana (check the link below).

Anyway aside from it... get a personal trainer who is also certified in nutrition... nowadays there are many that specialize in people getting fit for a specific date (like a wedding). There is nothing easier than this, aside from the fact that you will still need the willpower of sticking to the diet and exercise regimen.

The best healthy full proof i can recommend is eat healthy (lots or veggies, fruits and drink lots of water) then take some form of excercise that will suite you or will feel comfortable with. Best of all be disciplined, no mans creation or miracle will help you best than this unless it has some terrible aftereffects.
