i'd go ahead and propose. although you'd obviously have to wait til your current wife kicks the bucket to make your new marriage legal. bonus points if the current wife has good life insurance.
if the chemo looks like it's going to take, go with arsenic.

I would do it and cover all bases, if your wife pull through OK then just drop the GF to on the side action again. Lets face it - your wife will be out of it on drugs from now on, so she wont realy know what is going on anyway as she will be self centred on her on condition and not thinking of you anyway. Look after NO.1 for a change, your wife is a adult is she not.
