I can't get the english captions to turn off on my Grey's Anatomy DVD. I have an iBook DVD player. I've tried going to the setup section on the main menu and clicking "off" on the captions, but they won't go off. Has anybody else had this problem before? And if so, how do you solve it?

Try going to your TV MENU....
Select the Captions setting and turn it off.....
IF you can't do that....then select CC2 or CC3 as they are normally UNUSED caption channels....

have you tried playing it to other player?
i have the same problem and i found out there's somtehing wrong with my tv settings.. when i played my dvd on the computer, captions were all gone..
