My current bf has been divorced twice. I've never been married. The fact that he has been married kinda bugs me (but I try not to let him know). I just imagined myself marrying someone who had never been married before either....and it would be something new we would do together. I also have a hard time dealing with some of the things he has said to me. For instance, he has admitted that it would be stupid of him to go back to his gold-digging ex-wife, but he also included, "If she ever did come back, I'd probably go back to her". And now, everytime I hear about her, I get sort of irritated. I've heard him say, "i love you" after getting off the phone with her. I confronted him about that, and he said, "well, she doesn't even say it back...." My heart hurts in this relationship sometimes. Sometimes, I feel like I come second. Am I making a good decision by staying with him, even though he shows signs that he's not ready to move on?

I should probably add, that I'm still in love with my previous ex.....and it doesn't seem to bother my current bf. We are living together now. Am I making the right decision by staying here?

He seems perfectly content and happy in this relationship though......He tells me he loves me and loves being with me.

time will solve your problem he will loose interest in his ex and so will you and if you do split up you will most likely pine for each other and will continue with your next partners unless you can find the perfect soul mate if this person exists

Sounds like we made a hasty decision. Get out of this relationship, learn to live with yourself before you have any more live ins. Take time to heal and you'll find there are zillions of people out there. Even one just like you. My wife and I are on our 3rd marriage. Mine averaged 12 years, Hers about 4 (I am older by 9 years).

It may be painful but don't waste any more time. Life is short.

I'd say it's time to call it quits.

Neither of you are happy. Neither of you are ready to be in a relationship with anyone but your exes.

Of course, if you both understand that and can live with it, who am I to judge?

it makes me sick to me stomach to even think about getting back together with one of my ex's why the hell did you break up in the first place? Just stick it out and stay together STOP messing up other innocent peoples lives around you, JERKS!

you dont sound happy and he doesnt sound devoted....if i were you i would get out of the relationship before you really get hurt. you have to be able to trust in a relationship and you seem to have trust issues....
