I think it means, "He does not communicate well. Maybe you should ask yourself if you are willing to invest valuable time in a relationship that offer poor communication and potential misunderstandings.. An alternative Answer might be that he is attempting to use "The Power of Suggestion" on you in order to put you in the undesirable position that he wants you in.. I hope not..
