Hey Lanie Missing,
That is an odd last name. LOL, everyone is having fun with your question because we don't have enough information to even guess what you want us to do. Does this mean you are adopted? Maybe have amnesia? or is "Missing", your last name for real. Is your last name missing from some place it should have been? Help us out. Post your question again with more information about what you would like.

OK, so there is a lot of sarcasm here, even I've been guilty of that a time or two. But occasionally I get in a mood like today, when I really want to try to help! So here goes!
So, most likely your meaning you can't find it listed in any of the lists of surnames!
Then it is a name that is dying out, or the name is quite new(made up, which does happen sometimes.) Have you tried every site you can think of to find it in the lists? Could the spelling have been changed? As this happens quite often, too.
Don't give up, it's out there somewhere, sometimes you just have to dig a little deeper!!

Who says you need a last name which is more properly known as a surname? Just be who you want to be.
