S3XY GENIUS’ Human beings swim as an exercise to keep fit because swimming burns excess fat deposits in our bodies. However if we were to swim as much as the Blue whale (not to mention moving such a huge body) we would perish as we do not have the fat required to produce that amount of energy. For Whales swimming is not an exercise but a way of life, hence they require the fat to produce the energy to move themselves in their surroundings, which happens to be water. Honey, I am surprised that you called Blue Whales fat. Maybe you should take a picture of a fat man or woman place it besides a picture of a Blue Whale and honestly ask yourself, which one is more attractive? The Blue Whale is not fat, it is huge, strong, graceful and an extremely agile animal in compression to a fat human being.

Firstly Humans are the fattest animals on Earth. Secondly, Blue Whales are the largest animals on earth, if you made yourself 30m long you would start to look a lot bigger. Mammals that live in water have thick layers of fat (which is a major reason why Whales were/are hunted) which helps insulate them in the water. Most whales feed in the polar regions where water is pretty jolly cold. You live in the water, you can't take your thermals, thick jackets, wet suits, YOU need to be it. Good adaptation.
