No, don't bathe them. They are too young for that. Pet stores sell "Puppy wipes" which are dampened wipes which are PH balanced for a puppy's skin. You can wipe them down with a few of those.
Large Pet stores sell them. Some feed stores might. If you don't find any in your area, you can dampen a soft cloth without soap or chemicals and wipe them down.

You can not shampoo puppies until they are alteast 6 weeks old, I had this same problem last wek and talked tot he vet and they said to just take a warm wash cloth and wash them that way. My puppies are only 2 weeks old and the mother is only cleaning the poop off of them, not the pee so they are getting gunk on them from the pee. But it helped to get a wet wash cloth and wipe them down. In order to use puppy shampoo though the puppies have to be alteast 6 to 8 weeks old.

You can try going to petsmart and purchasing puppy wipes. This will help with the smell and keep you from having to bathe the young puppies. If you need to bathe them try a gentle puppy shampoo or J&J baby shampoo. Just remember is you bathe the puppies you have to make sure they are thoroughly dried and kept super warm or they will get sick.
Happy cleaning!

Although you can purchase puppy shampoos at a pet store, it is not recommended to wash them so soon. Just bear with the odor for now. The mom may start to lick them again, and you don't want to take any chances by hiding their natural smell with something artificial.

I would use unscented baby wipes on them, preferably the ones with aloe to help their skin. Warm the wipes between your hands before using and start from the face down. Don't give them a bath without talking to your vet about this. Is the mother showing any other signs of rejecting her puppies? Watch to make sure that all are getting equal feeding time and that they are gaining weight. Good luck with this!

Don't wash 3 week old puppies. Their mommy will take care of them. Just give her some time. And mother dogs don't bathe the pups forever, just for a few weeks.
If you don't like the smell of new puppies perhaps you shouldn't be breeding. Get your dog spayed as quickly as possible.

You can use one of those baby shampoos which doesn't hurt the eyes. I don't know the exact kind but you get the point, right?
Because baby shampoo doesn't have the chemical ingridients adult shampoo have, so it's okay for puppies.

Its a load of rubbish that you can't wash them as long as you dry them! Don't use a chemical wash just use a mild everyday shampoo- puppy shampoo ( not human) just check the bottle of dog shampoo to ensure it says can be used on puppies

Yes.....! Try using tear-free shampoo. The Baby isles usually have them. I love good-smelling puppies.
