I saw a man in white, he looked quite a sight. He was not old, but he stood in the cold. And when he felt the sun, he started to run. Who could he be? Please answer me.

Well first of all snowmen cannot run so it was someone who was probably burned in a fire and has to wear a protective suit.

Poor running man in white, hopefully it would soon be night. Burnt by fire in the past, He must wear the large white cast.

What does being old have to do with standing in the cold? Old people don't stand in the cold either. "But" is used when contrasting two things, but that one is very out of context.
