Everything goes back farther than that, It was the sin of Abraham that brought about the Muslim VS everyone else problem. God had promised Abraham and Sara a child that would become the Father of the Jews. But Sarah got tired of waiting. Sara took matters into her own hands by giving Hagar (her slave) to Abram. Like Abram she had trouble believing God’s promise that was apparently directed specifically toward Abram and Sara. Out of this lack of faith came a series of problems. This invariably happens when we take over for God, trying to make his promise come true through efforts that are not in line with his specific directions. In this case, time was the greatest test of Abram and Sara’s willingness to let God work in their lives. Sometimes we too must simply wait. When we ask God for something and have to wait, it is a temptation to take matters into our own hands and interfere with God’s plans.
Cross References:
Genesis 16:3—Genesis 12:4-5
The resulting child was Ismael who became the father of the Arab nations. Soon after Hagar gave birth to Ishmael Sarah became pregnant with the child God had promised. The two women and their children didn't get along so Abram through Hagar and Ishmael out. There has been trouble ever since.

First the war we have today was started by the action of the US to seek out the self proclaimed Muslims that have called to a Jihad against us.. . . . . .. . well and oil.

Second the crusades were not fought for God but for religion.

This feud is also fueled by the Koran telling Muslims to kill all Christians. No where in my Bible does it tell me to kill all Muslims.

In both religions however it is really the fanatics. All Muslims are not fanatics calling on a Jihad, not all Christians pray to the pope and believe the Crusades were Godly.

God Bless

Since when is today's war on terror "Christians vs. Muslims?" It would appear to me that the war is against those who would use terror for their political agenda. Besides, there were plenty of atrocities commited by both Christians and Muslims before, during and after the Crusades.

Amen for stating a controversial statement. I'm Muslim and in no way responsible for all these wars. Iraq and Afghanistan were initiated by Bush. In no way did these countries deserve to suffer for some looney teerrist who happened to BE from the Middle East. It's America's own damn fault they supported a dumbazz war with no real cause--look now, we've lost 3,000 poor American soldiers who had to give up their lives for us cowards; and an estimated 650,000 Iraqi civilians (many women and children) have been killed. Tell me, who's the real terrorusts now?? Tsk, tsk I never reverred Bill Clinton but at least he didn't start a world record of 2 wars in one term! (and get away with it, fooling millions of Americans).

On the contrary, a lot of these so called "Islamic" countries are totally against the real Islam and are a shame to us real Muslims who only want co-existance and equality. Actually, the bigger issues there are poverty where they can't even feed their damn families..probably due to lack of motivation (Im not even lying) They're content with their life, it's only the selected few plasterd of the news depicting their state. In all reality they can barely read, feed their families or let alone collect a real group of deadly, advanced killers (at least not anymore, thank God). Peace. Im out.

That's easy. Because mainstream media is telling them that the started the muslims started the war. See 99% of Americans don't have the mental abilities to think for themselves so they let mainstream media do it for them. Case in point who here actually knows what Bin Ladens name is? It's not Osama. Why does the media call him that then? Because they think you're too fragile to handle the fact that his name is Usama Bin Laden and the first three letters are USA. Think I'm lying? Well do you think the FBI got his name wrong when they made the wanted poster for him? Hit the link.

It is impossible to tell who started all this. The conflict goes back much farther than the foundation of Islam. The question you should be asking is why it has continued. How many Christians have heard of , in recent years, going to Muslim countries killing innocent people? Not many. Yet look how many of them kill Christians in the name of God? When you think of it this way, it is quite clear who to blame. Just remember, most Muslims are honest, hard working people who want peace. God Bless America!

No, the Christian crusades where a response to Islamic expansion.
To be honest todays terrorism is about Israel and has nothing to do with the Crusades. USA and Israel were not around during the crusades.

I think men with egos started all the wars in the past 2000 years. I believe God wanted certain fights fought, but He actually gave the orders in the Bible days. I don't think He is involved in any fighting now. I think we all should stop fighting, and leave each other alone if we can't get along. Most of us wouldn't want to fight if it came to our door. We are supposed to gain things peacefully not forcibly. Of course not everyone thinks that way so they fight about it. Its pretty sad.

"FYI- i'm an atheist." really? I under no circumstances would have guessed it! You do comprehend that it really is a procedures more cost-effective to purchase oil than it really is to triumph over for it, do not you? Liberals are really solid at making accusations in the route of conservatives and rationalizing themselves. one problem that I actually have got here upon out is that liberals hate good judgment. therefore, good judgment is the perfect weapon to apply hostile to them. Burden of information are you able to tutor that Adolph Hitler became a Christian? regardless of if he were, does that propose Christianity is undesirable? Are Bush and Cheney Christian fundamentalists? Did they provide idea to their conflict a holy conflict? Did they bypass to conflict for oil? what's your good judgment for declaring that Bush and Cheney were in the back of 9/11? "faith is the most important curse and plague to ever inflict mankind. The darkish a at the same time as under no circumstances ended." - Me are you able to help this declare with information, good judgment, and information?
