so my best friend and I have been friends for a while - get a long real well, goof off, and can tell each other everything. Lately, he's been getting more "weird"
- i've been joking that he's my "boyfriend" and he jokes back and says i'm his "girlfriend".
- he doesn't tell me certain things like he used to because he doesn't want me to be "jealous"
- we flirt "dangerously" know and not in a "joking" sense as much...like "you better look hot when i see you"..."just watch"
- NOW, we don't talk on the phone as much...he's more comfortable giving me texts than talking. He'll give me messages saying he'll call but he doesn't. USUALLY, he'll call back (and not text) when i leave a voicemail...it's like he's playing hard to get...
- we used to talk like 2 or 3 times a week and now...i haven't talked to him in almost 2 weeks..
and DON'T tell me he doesn't wanna be friends anymore...because i know we're still cool...it's just his behavior - so what's up with him?

He's definately into you! He's more comfortable texting than talking because there's things he wants to say to you that are easier to send in a message than get the nerve to say to you out loud. As far as not talking as much, he could be nervous when he talks to you, or as you said, playing hard to get to see if you pursue him. If you like the guy let him know. He will come clean about his feeling and things will be more comfortable, plus you might have a great relationship, most start with a great friendship. Good luck!

He may not be comfortable taking your friendship to another level or if he wants to, he does not know how to go about it, since the rules have clearly changed.
wait a while for him to call. make sure, make ABSOLUTELY SURE, that you want him as your boyfriend and when he calls next you ask him out and lay all your cards on the table. You say that you want something more then a friendship and if it's cool with him, then fine. If not.well. You are cool with that too. then you keep him as a friend and date other boys in good health.

Maybe he's in love with you and he's starting to be shy. Like me and my friend idk if i was in love or not but when i got that special feeling i started to get really shy around her and stuff i wouldn't talk to her sometimes i was just really shy. Just ask him it won't hurt. Good lucc =D

from what i understand.. he is not acting weird.... maybe he is seeing someone right now so he needs to pay more attention to her..... that explains why he seldom have the time to talk to you.... that's normal... be cool...
