Personally, I hate the name. And people pronounce it wrong too. It's pronounced viss-ta rhyms with hiss. It's NOT vee-sta.

Vista yes thats correct. Supposidly theres a way you just say open notepad then you can dictate documents, browse by just saying the link and other great vocal commands. I was sold just from that. Thats not even counting that there the fastest systems and have the best graphics and increased security.

The name's not bad but I hate how people mis pronounce it too. Vista refers to peaceful and scenic places, maybe Microsoft is trying to say that Vista will be hassle free and an overall peaceful computing experience.. lol

Vista is OK I'd say. But thay could have gone for something more technologically inclined. But one thing is for sure... wheather they call it Vista or whatever else, people are looking upto it with great expectations.

its not bad . but what ever you do dont install it over ur old windows if your going to buy it install vista on back up hard drive microsoft have not come out with all da info on vista and pc company as well
