I have recently lost a lot of weight. So much in fact that it has became a real problem for me. Because I can’t deal with all this extra energy I have. Because I can no longer sleep at a normal time and I can’t concentrate anymore and can’t stick to a daily routine what do I do?

Do you have a routine exercise plan to burn off that energy? If so, are you doing it in the morning. Often times if we exercise at night, it gets our adrenilin going and we find it hard to get to sleep. I've had this happen and found that I could get by on just 6 hours of sleep. Why don't you cut down your sleep time until your body levels off. Good Luck and Good Job!

I have lost 10 and a half stone after having a gastric bypass. This need a huge adjustment for your body your brain , and the way you feel. The amount of times I look in the mirror and still see a 21 stone person looking back at me is unreal .......
It all takes a long time.
I still buy the wrong size clothing too.
I get an odd feeling of vulnerability sometimes too when i get looks from the opposite sex ....basically coz im not used to them.
I am in a loving relationship and always get plenty of compliments from my partner but like I say it all takes time.
As for energy wow isnt it great .......I love it . Ive always been a terrible sleeper and so hadnt put lack of sleep down to the loss of weight.

I run my own online free support group for people having or finding out about weightloss surgery in the UK , i must admit this and shift work sorta uses up alot of energy.

Well done on the weightloss , doesnt it feel sooooo GREAT.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

first of all how did you lose the weight? I'm jelous
Secondly try going to the gym daily or if you can't afford it then jogging will burn all that energy too.
Write down a routine every week and stick to it. Your body just needs to get used to it. You'll be fine in no time

I had the same problem....it got so bad to the point where it seemed like i just crashed...all that energy I had that could not escape was desinigrated and I no longer had energy to exercise and therefore gained most of my weight back. So I had to start all over but I started doing hatha yoga. It helps you to concentrate and focus your bouncing energy into strong poses and stances. If you tune into the Oxygen channel every weekday morning at 6am eastern/5am central a show titled "Inhale" comes on and thats where I do my yoga from. It's really relaxing and puts that energy to good use!

Well, first of all congratulations!
Now, you have to make active changes and take a higher step into your personal evolution.
Too much energy can become a problem if it's not channeled, try water sports if you are into it, all the weight you lost will now be focused into lean toned muscle; which always looks great!

Walk more often during the day, such as walking to/from work or going for a walk after your main meal at night. Do some house work, such as hover or dust or iron or do a wash load. Have a warm bath to relax. Make a hot drink such as ovaltine and take it to bed, turn the tv on and out on the timer, watch tv and drink the drink and youll soon doze off.

I lost alotof weight and had the same prob, I now walk to and from work, make have tea from scratch, then take the dog out for a walk. Come back, hover, dust or iron, bath, drink movie/tv and bed. I now sleep well. I walk at least 6 miles on both sat and sun aswell.

Your weight loss has been very well done. Congratulations.

What is a bit worrying is that you sound like you have become edgy, nervous, anxious and probably irritable.

You should see your doctor soon and get yourself investigated for possible medical problems e.g. hyperthyroidism, anorexia nervosa etc. etc.(there are several other medical problems that may explain these symptoms).

BEST WISHES.

And I thought I was the cheeky one round these parts!
Unless you have been ill, as I once was, I congratulate you for loosing the weight. I want to loose about a stone myself.
