I've been eating only vegtable and fruit for 2 months now, and I've only lost 10lb, I heard that atkins diet works well, and I can eat all the meat I want, and I don't have to workout at all, that sounds better than my current diet, so the question is should I switch to atkins diet?

sounds good but it doesn't work . I've tried both and the vegetable diet works in several ways and is heathy but you have to omit fats meats fish chicken dairy products and sulfites have a salad at least once a day and drink as close to a gal. of water every day as well . keep the fruits in moderation and avoid simple carbs like pasta and refined flour bread and white rice you should use whole grains and wild or long grain rice . you will lose if you eat this diet in moderation a little bit of sugar or sweets is allowed.
Peace out

No, eat a variety of foods, excercise, and drink plenty of fluids. Your body needs more than just fruit and vegetables, eat lean cuts of meat also, drink skim milk, eat smaller portions. Congrats on losing even ten pounds, keep up the good work!

I asked my heart doctor the same-thing.He said yes you loose weight faster with the Atkins but you gain it all back faster when you guit it. also it isnt healthy for you. Low fats LESS food, all the veg you want, stay a way from some juices.

No. A sensible diet and proper exercises is the answer.
I dropped from 290 to 230 and have kept it off.
Drop your calorie intake and increase your exercise and you will lose weight.
Yes it is slower; but it will be a lot healthier in the long run....
