Why is it so hard to find work? The people that wants and need to work can't find work. But the people who don't want to work will be the first one to get work. Why is this?

There are people out there in this world with certifications, and experience that are trying to find work to provide for their families. Those are the ones who can't find work. The people that don't want to work are the ones who get jobs. This question really bothers me because I don't understand.

I absolutely agree with you. In our country, Nepal the people who get jobs easily come from political sources and most are not skilled or capable and this is one of the serious blow to the competent people who are more capable deserving the jobs but have no sources

In a way I agree-once I wanted to take a break from healthcare and it took me 5 months to find a job! I wasn't being picky either-finally got a minimum wage cleaning job through a friend. No one would believe I would work outside my profession though I explained I was burnt out. I do imagine some people are really picky though-as a matter of fact I know some. I say the bills keep coming and I get hungry!

The people who find work obviously have been looking for work, so somewhere your thinking is a bit flawed, or perhaps just the question is flawed.
Perhaps it is easier for people to find jobs who will work for less money than you, or under worse conditions, or during different working hours or days? There has to be a reason, and it isn't that people who don't want work get work.

People who are looking for jobs.. tend to become picky and sometimes act "too good" to do the job in which is needed, while the guy who doesn't really want to work... will take the job in which it is provided.(It does not matter what the work is... as long as they are getting paid).
