I have used Denorex Shampoo to help with my scalp psoriasis. I use it twice a week instead of my reg. shampoo. I may tingle but it works it seams to be the only thing that works for me. I have used those other shampoos and They don't wash out of my hair( I have very thick hair). And doesn't seam to do the job.
I get psoriasis so bad that I get it on my face. It takes care of that also. So just by using it may help your hands also. Not a home remedy but It's worth a try.
You can find it in any store. It is about $7 a bottle but does last a long time. Hope this helps.

I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.

I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.

And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.

And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

I've had scalp psoriasis since 2007 and i've attempted using things like olive oil or tar shampoo and many many topical medications, even tried steroids through a needle to my scalp, and nothing has worked! I know you said that you don't have insurance, but this stuff is amazing. I used it for a week in a half and haven't used it anymore until today. So my scalp was psoriasis free for a month. If you can get your hands on Clobetasol (clobex) LOTION (not the foam or proportionate!), do it. Everything else just softens the scale to make it easier to come off. This stuff stops the scale from forming!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/TreatmentPsoriasis2015dqcX everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.

You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!

There are over the counter preparations for psoriasis, and they work.

First you need to see a dermotologist so you know the skin condition you are treating IS actualy psoriasis.

I do not recommend diagnosing ones own skin, there are so many causes for skin conditions, that you could litterally spend thousands of dollars and still have a problem. One trip to a Dermotologist and you Know what you are treating.

I have Psoriasis, I was missdiagnosed three times and treated with a medication that only made matters worse.......three times.

One trip to the Dermotologist and I am on the mend.

When you have a problem, recognise you do and seek the most qualified person you can find to help you with it, I learned this the hard way.

When I was 30 the P came in my life. I went to 4 doctors and all said it is psoriasis you cannot do anything, it;s the imunesyst blablabla.
8 years it appeared on my nails. Awfulness and depression.
Last summer I stopped any dairy product and turned to fresh raw juices.
three months later I was totally clear till xmas that I had spoiled my diet and eating chocolate deserts and stuff. The P get came on skin and nails not that much but it was back !! Sh1t Again. I tried my diet program but not succefully. I used my previous thought route which says "that something that you think that is harmless for you, is not. And maybe you overdo it". Two weeks ago I thought that I ll try SUGAR! I had never done this before. Two weeks later (today) I am clear again. Much easier this time. Also no dairy products which contain lactose (sugar). I plan to eat some cheese in 6 months but no sugar. I am over it.
Hope to help. I do not know your eating habits. I passed 3 years after p came on my nails thinking and thinking and recalling all my past life and learning to hear my body. And I remember When I went to a doctor for my nails she had told me that it's fungus and it is been feeded with sugar. But I thought "no, it can be that. I have psoriasis".

I hope to make it.

I've found petroleum jelly works well for body psoriasis. It takes a few days to work, but it really relives the itching and flaking associated with it. Its not really a home remedy but it works well. You may also want to try using Aveeno or a anti itch cream or lotion with colloidal oatmeal or some form of oatmeal in them. I found that the oatmeal seems to work really well in soothing skin. Keep in mind psoriasis kind of differs from person to person in what works in reliving it so what I suggested may not work for you.

I'm not diagnosised for psoriasis, but I've found no other explanation for my rash thats on my leg and the only treatments that have worked have been ones recommended to me are ones for psoriasis by people who have that.

The best is to first start a severe diet of fresh juices ( fruits and vegetables). Detoxing for 3, or 5 days or even longer if you can handle it! You most likely have a fatty liver or a liver filled with toxins. After that avoid meat, stress and take vitamin B,D. and spend as much time possible in the sun. Also will help if you use a dovonex cream. on the affected areas. It's a synergy effort that's needed. Unfortunately! otherwise it will always come back !
Avoid stress, meat, fried foods, ...smoking etc. Good luck
