I have a basset and Chow mix, he's brown like a chow but has a body like a basset, short fat, and always sad looking. He's pretty unique. Anyone have any unusual breed mixes? I'd love to hear about it.

Purebreds are the best but one of my friends has a Poodle/Yorkie and she's the most darling dog. I really love her and want her. Of coarse each dog is unique so don't go thinking that's something that runs in the mix. At least with purebreds you have an idea of what your getting into. Buy a Retriever and you won't end up with a sled puller!!

this isn;t very unusual, but ill tell you what mix makes the ultimate dog: chow and golden retriever. I used to have one, her name was Tilly and she was adorable! She never barked, because if the chow in her and she was sooo sweet. She didn;t have a mean bone in her. She was smaller than a goldy and had fluffy auburn hair. Non as fluffy as a purebred chow, but the perfect amount of fluff. She lived til she was 14, which is impressive. She was the perfect dog, my baby!

I have a 5 month old Bichonpoo (Bichon Frise and Poodle) she is adorable. She is so mellow and so smart. She is so easy to train. Her picture is at left, on my 360 and at www.dogster.com (name: Esperanza town: Merrick). She is black with white markings. It looks like she has a white goatee. In pictures her eyes are lighter but in person her eyes are dark and it is hard to see them through the fur. She loves everyone and all other animals. She truly is the best dog in the world.

My mom has a Pug/Chihauhau mix so cute shes the size of a Chihauhau and has all the Pug features. We got her brother a Pug/Palmeranian mix. He was tiny like a Palm, but body of a cute. Cute Cute Cute.

I just bought a Bulloxer which is a american Bulldog boxer mixed and they are the most beautiful dogs i have ever seen. My baby has Big blue eyes which is rare and they are really great dogs

I have seen a Labrador x Corgi - looked like a small labrador that had had its legs chopped off (hmm that sounds morbid, but really was a cute dog).
I have a Lhasa x Cocker spaniel - Very cute

I have a blue heeler mix. She's got a heeler bib and brown and white cowboy boots on her legs. The rest is black with random brown markings. She's a cutie.

haha I had a Sharpe and pitbull mix, she was wrinkley, she had tan fur, with little black dots on her tummy, she had a runt like nose, and a long tail! she was cuuuute!
I also had a chow and blue-heeler mix, he was so adorable! he had black dots on his tounge, a bluish-redish tan fur, and a long nose! adorable dog, really.
