I'm going to give you a piece of advice my mother gave me YEARS ago.
"Never keep a diary or journal, it's evidence."
Take that advice and be free child. When there is nothing to snoop for the the snooping will end.
People can't mind their own silly business.

Been there before, I swear! My Grandmother used to do the same thing to me. She says, she was just looking out for me and it was for my own good. Besides, I was her favorite amongst the other grandchildren in our family. Sometimes, she even deny that she was snooping. I explain to her that snooping was an invasion of my privacy and I that I was upset with her. I never told her that I didn't love her, cause she's my grandmother. But I let her know compassionately, that it bothers me. I think your Aunt loves you and doesn't want to see you hurt. Sometimes, the ones that care more about us are usually right. Maybe, there is something about your b/f that she doesn't like or doesn't approve of. Explain to your aunt, that she needs to be more open with you. You don't want to start hiding things from her cause its inappropriate to do so. Tell her that you love and trusts her, but if she keeps doing what she's doing, she's becoming untrustworthy and it hurts you to think of her like that. She should understand and if she keeps invading your privacy, then I suggest that every time you leave your phone at home, put on your key lock. I did, and sometimes my grandmother knew how to unlock it, then I took it to another level. I took the face off and leave the phone too charge. Maybe you need to start locking your room more often and if she says no locks, then take out your Sim card or just take off the face. When you put it back together, your messages will always be there. As far as your diary, keep it in a safe place at all time. I mean buy yourself a little treasure box with a lock on it and keep the key on your key chain. You need to take extreme measures if it continues, I would and I did... Good Luck to you and wish you the very best....

I had my *most intimate and personal* diary read by my snooping aunt and I got hell from my mom for all I had written in it. I agree with the person above...it's evidence. If you must write, use MS Word and use a password to lock the file so only you can open it.
I hvnt spoken to my aunt since.

I just found better hiding places for things like that. Like taping the diary to the underneath of the furniture in my room and moving it to a new spot every few weeks.

NEVER KEEP A DIARY!!!!!! only keep a fake one to keep them off of your back. i had a journal once that was full of poems and short stories. my mother trashed my room once, i still don't know why... and she destroyed my journal, wrote all over it in black marker. after that i did everything on the computer and kept it on a locked disk.

i think of it is not approximately allowing or not, relatively it truly is approximately trusting one yet another. everybody could be mad in the event that they discovered somebody snooping around their stuffs, yet i think of that they gained't be snooping the two while you're easy with them or they does not found out approximately something in case you weren't hiding something. i think that the two certainly one of you lost the have faith between you 2, it truly is why you get carry of right into a concern like this.

luckil this never happend to me, but i would YELL AT THEM!! they have no right to look through ur stuff, especially if you tell them not to. if they still keep doing that, prove to them that your being responsible and not doing stupid things ( which is proably why they are looking through ur stuff)
