By the way, let the record show: I am a Christian. I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian. I just think Pat Robertson makes us all look bad. Of course, he is also a dirty heretic.

Yeah. God sent an angel to tell Mary she would be carrying His son but He speaks to Pat Robertson personally.
He is an idiot.

Pat Robertson has made many predictions - some of which have come true, some of which (like the 51% 'big' winning margin for Dubya's re-election) "just" come true.

If he's claiming to be a 'Prophet', however, he needs a 100% "spot-on" track record. Deuteronomy 18:14-22 + 13:1-5 are clear about believing 'prophets' without 100% accuracy and prophets who try to lead people into following their ways, not God's.

Either God is talking to him - and he'll be 100% right - or God isn't talking to/through him.

Just don't send him any money till he's proved 100% right, especially over the 'massive' devastation attack on the USA. (He'll probably claim any tragic action killing a few dozen people as evidence he's right, tho.)

People like this disgust me, he should be ashamed of himself. You know Pat Robertson probably has more skeletons in his closet than Bush and Cheney combined! If I ran around saying all the crap he says, they would lock me up! This is what America has become, and it is saddening. Our news is overwhelmed with headlines like "Demi & Ashton were surprised" "Britney shows her cooter" "Pat Robertson predicts the future". Where are all the headlines that are worth reading?? Ever read anything about the good things done in Iraq?? Nope, because Britney's cooter was shown that day so obviously that will make top bill instead of something that really matters. Ok I'm done rambling! Happy New Years Everyone!!!

No.

He's quite sane.

I agree with him.

If I had a TV show, even Jay Leno or David Letterman's show, I'd say it to!

If I was a Psychic, I say it too.

If I was an Evolutionist or Seismologist, I'd say it too!

It's almost a sure bet.

AND when it happens, I'd be famous!

The chances that NOTHING will happen to us this year from Osama or some other idiot are tiny!

You can be SURE, someone is planning something BIG and when it happens Robertson will look smarter than Homeland Security.

Well, there can be no doubt that he is a lying fool... but a curiously dangerous one, as a result of his ignorant followers. Anyone can make reasonably likely predictions such as this one, but it's dangerous and immoral to dictate people's actions and take their money as a result.

" A pretty good track record" -- so apparently god lies to him sometimes. If god likes Pat at all, why would he lie to him? Hmm... maybe Pat is actually talking to that tricky devil?

Would it really surprise anyone if there is another big terrorist attack on the US in 2007? Does this strike you as the kind of info god would provide to someone who really can't do anything about it except pray and vote? Devil again? More likely is that Pat is simply lying -- he's using his forbidden powers of reason to make reasonably likely predictions, in order to fool even more people into giving him money.

I can predict (no gods or devils talk to me, mind you) that Iraq will be an even worse quagmire in 2007. We will eventually (sometime after 2007) realize that we have lost the war, because a theocratic dictatorship will take control, rather than a democracy.

The really important thing is for the press, or anyone, to expose this opportunist charlatan, who preys on the ignorant and vulnerable. He is simply evil.

I don't know if he's insane or not, but he says in that interview that he has a fairly good track record, taking the spotlight off of God, and putting it on himself.
Whatever Robertson's track record is, God's is perfect.
Pat Robertson is a false prophet, a liar, and has no business saying that God told him anything.

What I really like about the article was this " I have a relatively good track record," he said. "Sometimes I miss." Thats strange to me? Because God is 100 % on his predition. If they were God's doings, there wouldnt be a miss.

Here's an insert from my website- With the catastrophic destructions and the devastations of the Tsunami, hurricane Katrina and Rita, as well as the terrorists attack of 9-11. I've been sitting and listening to the rising questions and comments over our news media, from reporters, on talk shows, from ministers and various celebrities, concerning the conditions of the World, and this Nation, in particular, in reference to God and His hand of Judgments.

Now, some say these are "God’s" doings, and some say its "God" allowing, them to happen. Either way, doing or allowing, it appears to me, there's some finger pointing at God!

Even one speaker went so far as to say, that "because of this Nations sin and rejection of God, God has removed His hand of protection" meaning, which, in turned, allowed, 9-11 to occur? In the following, I will attempt to lay out, why I believe theses and other past destructions, are "Not" the Judgment hand of God.

It is seen, in the "Differences" the Righteousness of God, places between the Righteous and the Unrighteous. Between the Saved and the Unsaved, the Believer and the Unbeliever, the Just and the Unjust.

In Psalm 5:12; For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

To start, let me barrow from the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:29, if I may. Here, Jesus says "Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures" To these I echo the same "Ye do err" also, in not knowing the scriptures.

For these are serious errors, in the misconception, misunderstanding, and misleading to the Grace, the Patience, and the Long Suffering of God.

Now, some would take a small of thing as an "err" lightly.

However, it is because of a small thing called "err" the reason behind all the Falsehoods of Christianity there are today. Whom on a daily bases, according to the Divine Inspirational Scriptures of the New Testament Church, is dragging countless number's into eternal damnation.

First, we need to show God does not benefits from the initial, physical death of someone. In Ezekiel 18:32, we read; For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. Here we can see that the Lord receives "No" Benefits, "No" Pleasures, No Gratifications, No Satisfactions, and No Delights, in the death of someone!

This would include, even those of whom we, from humanities point of view, would characterizes as great enemies of God and Humanity! These concepts of God are on line with man or man-kinds level of thinking, and reacting to someone who has wrongfully, wrong us!

It's as if they see God as some mythological deity as Zeus, standing by at times, with a lighting bolt ready to pounce on someone! But, that is "Not" GOD - Not the One True and Living GOD, who is Supreme Personal Intelligence and Righteous Ruler of His Universe.

In the Old Testament there was no second guessing if something was God's doings. For he told his people and prophets, in advance. And it was 100 % on the mark!

However, Satan does toss in his hand of manipulation, and bring about certain things to get people to think its God's doings.

Was it really even necessary to ask the question?

"The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."

Yeah. This from the man who said he wanted to nuke the State Department. And he's still not on the Homeland Security terrorist watch list. Go figure.

He isn't insane. Through prayer and fasting, it is possible for God to speak to your heart, of audibly. He has predicted things in the past that have been fulfilled. You guys should really just consider what he is saying. The God you don't believe exist IS SOON TO RETURN whether you believe or not....

he's so damn crazy, have you ever watched how him and his cohort sit there and declare people cured of various ailments, like headaches, and arthritis, and then urges them to send their cash. I mean what an *** , of course if you say someone's headache is feeling better to a television audience of a million people, the odds are someone's headache probably will get better. It's just the odds and manipulation.
