trust yourself - go shopping and have fun! Paint is not real expensive and there are many techniques - sherwin williams, lowes and home depot have free suggestion sheets and some have free classes on "how to" . Book stores have many idea books and magazines - this is my specialty - trust me - you can do stuff all by yourself - just investigate - it can be theriputic when you are creative and its self rewarding - you save a ton of $$$ when you do it yourself -also HGTV -excellent channel!! watch it!Have Fun!
