possibly not. so use nero as your DVD creation program. and using windows XP and above find the files you want to play on your DVD player. Now you find them make a copy to a seperate folder. now rename the files from .wmv to.avi or .mpg now drag the files in the order you want on the DVD (in the DVD creation program in nero.
now burn and check the data (verify) (use A DVD- or+RW if your DVD palyer supports either the - or +)
now if all is well eject the DVD you just burned on your computer and try and play it in your DVD player. it should play normally, if not then make a note of the errors put the disc back in the burner and erase the disc.
go to divx.com and download the player and converter/ creation tools i forget if they are free or not.

i hope i've given you these details for nowt and you can get your dvd palyer for WMV files.

good luck.
