I have been seeing this guy off and on for about two years, he's everything I have ever wanted in a man, except for one problem, and it's not just a small problem... he's always making jokes and references to having sex with babies. What's weird about it is he's not the type who even makes sexual jokes, he's a very polite and pretty shy. So I don't understand, even in front of my friends he'll just out of nowhere say disgusting things about babies. I can't really go into detail about it on yahoo, but the things he says are really really gross, and he even has many times mentioned specific babies that friends of mine have and things he wants to do to them.The other night he was very drunk and I got mad at him about these jokes because he was embarassing me, and he flipped out and started saying, "you really think I'm like that, you probably tell everyone I'm serious, etc." Now he's embarrassed around me and awkward. What do I do?

The worst point it ever was at was when he was saying he thought I would be a good mother and that we should have a baby together, which made me happy, until he would burst out laughing and give me this weird look, like he wanted me to remember the whole joke about him and babies. It used to make me sick, and fortunately at least he stopped doing that.

Stop asking what you already know. It is SICK and it is WRONG. Mr Right doesnt have sick fantasies about babies. It's disturbing that you're even hesitating on this....
Pt 2: If you stayed with him & had children you would enable him to abuse your children in whatever sick way he is imagining. Could you live with that? Is that Mr Right? You need help if you can't see how wrong this is....

I really hope that you are kidding, but if not, and if you really care about him, you need to get him some help, and quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been around some weird ******* people, but I have NEVER been around anyone who joked about such a thing. And, as far as I am concerned that isn't even considered joking it is sick and twisted and he seriously needs some professional help. Christ, I can't even type anymore, the thought is making me ill. You got mad at him?????????? I think I would have beat the crap out of him. For real. I don't care how wonderful he is.............that is just something you don't joke about. If you had a baby and he was making the jokes about your baby, I think you would be a little disgusted. And, I don't care how drunk he was....you know what they say....alcohol is a truth serum.

I think you need to seriously rethink your relationship.Sometimes people you least expect to... turn out to be total weirdos.This guys sounds like he has some issues he needs to deal with.He may have had a problem in the past that you dont know about or even have a totally other kind of lifestyle you are unaware of.This could be a dangerous situation and you should really get out of it.You cant trust this guy or i would say that communication is key and that you should talk to him about it.I hope you figure this one out.How could you ever have children with this man and feel comfortable?If he was Mr.Right you wouldnt have to have these uncertanties and concerns.It's not fair to you and you should bail now before it's too late and you find yourself in an even more complicated situation.It's also not fair to your firends who have children,those innocent kids aren't safe.He needs help and you need to say goodbye! Jokes are jokes but this sounds like something more. If he really wanted to do disgusting things with babies (gross to even type that) then he wouldn't say it out loud.
He's got another emotional problem. Some people who have problems like this make inappropriate comments around others to compensate for their insecurities or other problems.
Tell him that you're concerned about him and that you want him to talk to a therapist or someone like that. If he won't you might want to consider if he's really worth dating or not. You might just want to consider this without even asking him to get help.

i think your Mr. right is a very sick man that is not something anyone i know of jokes about. you need to get him some help fast before he follows out his sick jokes.i wouldn't let him any where near my children or grandchildren.the man has a very serious problem i don't care what he tells you.he is going to end up ruining someones life,if he doesn't get some help real soon. i know that from personal experience,i lived thru that kind of thing as a child myself.and the first thing they claim is i didn't do anything wrong.and that talking or thinking like that doesn't make me that kind of person.AND I CAN TELL YOU EVERY THING THAT THEY ARE SAYING ARE NOTHING BUT LIES!!!!!!! i know i went thru it for nine years of my life and he denied doing anything wrong right up to the day he died in prison!!!!
