I would call the police, most definitly. I hope she got a good look at the fellow so they can find him.

There's a chance she's not his first victim and won't be the last. Urge her to call the police.

That's a tough one to answer. My "mugger" pled guilty & gets out of prison next year. I have no idea what he's going to do once he gets out. He might want to find me & finish me off. I wouldn't testify against him, but the neighbors who witnessed my attack did & the 2 time con folded & pled guilty. If I had it to do over again, I don't think that I would have called the Police to begin with, but I was in shock from being beaten & having my arm broken. I am disabled for the rest of my life & nothing will ever change that. He's had 6 years to learn new ways of hurting people & I hope he doesn't come for me, because this time, I'll be ready to take him with me! Like I said, it's a tough call.

Try to remember as much information about the criminal as possible. Keep your cool. Give the criminal what they want. If you don't want to call the police then call a friend to take you to the police station. Go down fill out a report. Remember you might have to go to court.
Filling out a police report will be the start on the journey to having to finding security again.

Afraid of what, getting mugged and assaulted? Call the police! These creeps count on people not turning them in.

if you like being a victim don't do anything.
No telling how many others have been or will be mugged by the same person. Her description might get him caught and save someone else the same fate. He might even kill someone. IF the two of you can live with that then be scared and don't report it.

I can't imagine her being to afraid to call the police if she didn't know the attacker. She should want them behind bars. Did something more happen that she is not revealing to anyone? Feel free to email me.

I would definitely call the police, whether i knew the mugger or not.If you don't, he will just do it again and maybe next time he will kill someone.Just think,it could be a family member to get hurt.

This is why the Second Amendment exists. I'd pull out the .45 and that'd pretty much be the end of that poor mugger. To hell with waiting 30 minutes for a cop to show up. By that time, your friend could have been raped and shot with plenty of time for the rotten bastard to get away.
