I believe everything the bible says. What I am alluding to is the problem of interpretation. Jesus returns on the clouds...so if you believe that, you may think he physically resurrected or you might understand that he comes on the clouds of confusion that exist in the world. He comes like a thief and gathers all the jewels while you are asleep in your mythology.

If you don't investigate carefully, if you are prejudiced toward a point of view then you are likely to miss the boat as the Jews did at the time of Jesus and since then. Why let someone else tell you how it is. Use your own good mind and the guidance from God to tell you what the truth is. Hubris and ignorance are the ugly sisters who are active when the Messenger arrives. What makes you think you can fall into that category today. It is all too likely and you wouldn't even know it because of the two sister natures. They complement each other to produce a bad result. 2Th 2:11 - "Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false..."

The Bible tells me how He's going to return. And if anyone claims to be Christ before that time comes...then I won't believe them.
Matthew 24:23-27 :: "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

I don't understand the question. If you believe that Jesus is returning, don't you believe in the Bible? If you believe in the Bible, don't you believe that Jesus will return the way it says?

According to the gnostic gospels, the second coming is not a apocalyptic event, it is a revelation of knowledge.

He was a carpenter. I'd hire him to build an addition on my house, and maybe a deck.
