every clinic of the hospital will have, prominently displayed in the waiting area, a picture of the Patienbt Advoicate of that clinic. This is the person you need to speak to about ANY issues you may have.. whether it concerns the care you receive or the conduct of the personnel.

Of course, this pre suppsoes you actually spoke to the offending personnel first and asked they they keep their voices down, and they refused to do so.

A quick discussion with the CMC (Command Master Cheif) if this is a naval hospital would solve the situation is a hurry. Other hospitals have equivilant posts of top NCOs. I would expect that person would be more recptive and get more results then the CO.

All the enlisted, and every smart officer will listen to the CMC.

This is called "Conduct Unbecoming of the Service" by the UCMJ and will not be tollerated by any command.

I know, have been in every Army hospital in Texas: just talk to the
"patient representative or stop by the Command Sgt Major's office.

Smile.

It was likely not professional medics that were doing such and I hope it was not clinical ward staff. The "Chief Nurse" would roast them on the helopad at dawn.

Not acceptable for Army Medical Corps, period.

Be it Fort Hood, Fort Bliss or Fort Sam....

Well, as antagonistic as your question is, no it's not appropriate for such discussions to occur within earshot of children.

Try this; politely approach them and ask that they choose another topic while children are present. And do them a favor; don't preach to them while you're there. They fought and died so that you have the RIGHT to publicly state that you believe Jesus Christ died for your sins.

Christ may have protected your immortal soul, but the soldiers protected your mortal butt.

Better yet, walk away if you encounter something you don'tlike. Turn the other cheek, and all that.

Edit: What, you didn't like being told that your question was antagonistic? Why do certain people (not all, thank God) fail to understand that shoving your religion in another person's face is no more welcome than chronic halitosis?

hi! nicely i'm 40-one weeks pregnant and performance been at Blanchfield well-being middle in citadel campbell, ok.Y. (protection force) and that i have had not something yet undesirable reviews so a procedures. i have not considered a authentic physician yet and that's been a distinct mid spouse each and each and every time. Your treated like a good determination truly then someone. at the same time as i tried discussing my start plan with the perfect mid spouse she reported there became no aspect in me chatting with her about it reason she does not be there for my shipping besides. I sit interior the waiting room for a minimum of 30 min after my appointment time each and each and every time and all those who works there is basically impolite. If i might want to work out a civilian physician i'd yet given my insurance i'm not allowed. i'm not attempting to scare you yet all my adventure were negative. I actually have alot of friends who've had those style of themes with this actual well-being middle so i can not say that's all protection force yet i'd persist with civilian care. besides i am hoping this helps somewhat truly then sounding like a venting consultation. solid success with each and every thing!!

Its not proper etiquette anywhere except a strip club, or a brothel..
Obviously a rhetorical question...

Oh yeah and don't ask for the damn CO, just ask for there work center supervisor, or the patient contact rep, you will get farther. asking for the CO is like asking to talk to Bill Gates when you have a problem with tech support.

And they are dying for your freedom, 3000 military members within last four years.

Ditto to the above. Tell the CO what they're doing, and it should stop. It's entirely unnecessary and inappropriate to be talking about that stuff while at work. They're not being paid to serve their country by sitting on their duffs and yakking about insignificant crap. Throw them out on their @sses.

Talk to the CO of the hospital. That will end the problem right now.

thats definitely not proper etiquette, being a military hospital or not. I work in a hospital in virginia, we would be so in trouble if we got caught talking about anything not work related.

i agree with you. they are directly feeding these kinds of information to the children who are supposed to be innocent. and i believe that their innocence should be preserved. get ahold of your self and start thinking of ways to avoid it and even spreading the news to others that "hey! that is not a good thing to do!"
