There is nothing wrong with writing poems to protest a war or a conflict that get soldiers involved but yours tends to put the onus on the soldiers and therefore to me is an insult to the troops who are there. You can publish it, there are allot of opinions out there and you are entitled to yours.Every one will form their own opinion.

Such crass? War at last?
You my dear, are spitting up mental pablum!!! Please read a little Wilfrid Owen,Siegfreid Sassoon,or Joyce Kilmer for some good anti war poetry. Learn "In Flanders Field". Whatever your politics are your poetry needs a lot of work! Good Luck!

Well, it was published here but it is smarmy drool and not worth the time to commit it to paper.

You are reading far too much poetry from the turn of the century and don't have a realistic view of who and why men and women fight and/or defend their country or honor their commitments to the military.
