Yes it is. It's how I found my birth father. I would intermittently input his name into Google or Yahoo and finally, one time, it pulled up a phone number with his name - and it was him!!

Did you try keying her name directly into google (and not into one of those services like intellius, etc.)? Or a site like classmates.com or the other high school reunion site. I have lucked up on phone numbers before by following all of the links. Its very time consuming. Good luck.
