Chinese. After all Mandarin is the #1 language in the world (English is #2). Also Han Chinese are the largest ethnicity in the world representing 19% of the world population. Also much of Japanese culture originally comes from China. Kimono, Bonsai tree, Tea ceremony...all originally Chinese. Chinese culture is older and has influenced most other cultures in the Far East.

chinese because that's my nationality. pwahaha.
but honestly, china reigned in japan for several centuries before the japanese actually established an identity, so most things that are japanese stem from the chinese culture.
and perhaps it's just me, but since i live in a very traditional chinese household, the history of china is relayed to me all the time. so just knowing that japan invaded china and caused so much havoc and killed more than 2 million people without acknowledging what they did to this day and not apologizing...well that just doesn't float my boat.
so yeah, chinese. wooo.

I would be Japanese...
a) Good Education: Smart People
b) Most technologically advanced (Sony, Honda, all the best companies are there in Japan seeking new innovations everyday)
c) Culture: they value and respect everything, from homes to elders
d) High standard of living
e) Respect to elders
f) It jus seems to be cooler to be Japanese than Chinese doesn't it??

I like both the Asian Culture period is cool :)..But if I have to pick Chinese... Cause I love Chinese food (lol) but for real I like the culture... Chinese New Years... Chinese Zodiac... etc...
