Even though I just cleaned out the fridge, I missed some expired pickles. They smell and look fine. They are pickled for goodness sake! What do you think? Oh yea, they are two years expired...ewwww I know! (Hey they were WAY in the back okay??) so lay off! :))

Pickles do not get bad easily.. due to the higher concentration of salt and vinegar.. Therefore its ok to eat it . But since there is an expiry date mentioned it clearly indicates that the Nutrient value of the Pickle will not be the same as it was prior to its expiry.. So don't take anymore chances, its not advisable to use any product after its expiry date.

No you should not eat the pickles even though they smell and look fine it may taste bad and you might get food poisoning.

no, i would fallow the "best by" date... I know that if you eat expired pickled tomatoes, you can die...I'm not sure with regular pickles though... i wouldn't take a chance on it though........

Yeah, they've probably got so many preservitives in them that they won't go bad for a long time.
